The Brian Sisters

1942

In 1942 the Brian Sisters made a short 'soundie' film with the Will Osborne Orchestra as a Halloween special.
This was The Boogie Woogie Man, in which the girls, now all teenagers, dress as little girls to help the film, but look a bit incongruous. They perform very well though!
They fidget around to emulate fear; very effective!

In The Billboard of 3rd October 1942 we are told that Connie Haines and the Brian Sisters are vocalists on the new Coast-to-Coast series, Nathan Scott Presents.
So far no episodes are available.

In addition to this, the girls had their own weekly radio show cunningly titled Brian Sisters.
